For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities- his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

Who else has held the oceans in his hand? Who has measured off the heavens with his fingers? Who else knows the weight of the earth or has weighed the mountains and hills on a scale?
No, for all the nations of the world are but a drop in the bucket. They are nothing more than dust on the scales. He picks up the whole earth as though it were a grain of sand.
Look up into the heavens. Who created all the stars? He brings them out like an army, one after another, calling each by name. Because of his great power and incomparable strength, not a single one is missing.
The only way the universe could come into existence is by an all-powerful divine creator. God’s greatness and phenomenal power may be beyond our understanding, but by observation and study we can gain a deeper understanding and perception of our god and creator. We just need to stop our hectic lives, take time, and look, listen and observe God’s creation. The design and intricacy of how God meticulously made everything is amazing.
There was a big bang in the beginning that God started. The explosive force of the big bang and the gravity to match that force had to be 1 part in 10 to the 60th or the universe would not exist. Now that is a lot of zeros. The slightest degree of more explosive force and the world would explode. The slightest degree of more gravity and the world would implode back on itself. God was freakishly precise in his creation and design. He got it right the first time. There is no evidence of other sources having tried and failed many times.

But ask the animals what they think- let them teach you; let the birds tell you what’s going on. Put your ear to the earth- learn the basics. Listen- the fish in the ocean will tell you their stories. Isn’t it clear that they all know and agree that God is sovereign, that he holds all things in his hand- Every living soul, yes, every breathing creature?
There are many examples of God’s greatness and power in my book Believing is Seeing. If you observe nature, you find many amazing animals with miraculous abilities given to them by God. One example of uncanny ability are the swallows of Capistrano. A miracle takes place every year at the Mission San Juan Capistrano on March 19th. The swallows arrive at the mission every year on the same date. The swallows migrate between Argentina and California. These birds fly a 15,000-mile round trip and arrive back at the mission on the very same day of the year. How is it possible for a bird with a tiny little brain fly to Argentina and back without a GPS? You and I would have trouble even with a GPS! Only an all-powerful God could design a bird with those capabilities.
